The Highway Loss Data Institute (HDLI) has completed a new study of the effectiveness of the driver-assist safety systems featured in BMW vehicles from model years 2013-17.
Numerous driver assistance systems are available as standard and optionally for the BMW X1 (2022), which support you with partially automated functions depending on the driving situation. The Driving Assistance Professional package adds various assistance and safety features. I have it on my X5 and will be getting it on my M340i. The Active cruise with Steering does an excellent job on all different types of roads.

It allows you to park your car in tight parking slot, parking remotely (up to 6 m) away from the car. You have to park it one time by yourself.
Our car had the Driving Assistant Professional option (£1500), bringing BMW’s full suite of driver assistance systems (also including active lane keeping and auto speed limit assist).
